Family Welfare E-Passbook to be Prepared with Family ID in UP, CM Yogi Gives Clear Instructions

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a comprehensive review of the Planning Department's activities and provided crucial directives to promote sector-wise potential in the state. One of the significant directions he gave was regarding the issuance of the Family Welfare E-Passbook, aiming to integrate various schemes and services for families through mapping based on the Family ID. This initiative will enable families to access and benefit from the provided schemes seamlessly. So far, out of the received 98,046 applications, 41,440 Family IDs have been issued.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of connecting at least one member of every family in the state to employment, jobs, or services through the Family ID program. He stressed the need to raise awareness about this program among the general public, ensuring maximum participation and inclusion.

In line with the state's development objectives, CM Yogi announced the creation of the State Transformation Commission for long-term planning. The commission will promptly appoint qualified specialists to all key positions and ensure its effective functioning. He also highlighted the significant growth in the state's domestic product, which was 16,45,317 crores in the financial year 2020-21 and increased to 19,74,532 crores in 2021-22, witnessing an approximate 20% rise.

Looking ahead to the financial year 2022-23, the projected state revenue stands at an estimated 21.91 lakh crores, a development that brings satisfaction. He emphasized the need to utilize the allocated funds for Bundelkhand and Purvanchal's development in a multi-dimensional and sustainable manner, addressing local requirements accordingly.

CM Yogi reiterated the government's commitment to aspirational district programs, placing them as a top priority in governance. The government actively listens to the needs of every development district. In the overall Delta ranking from March 2022 to March 2023, Bishunpura Vikas Khand in Kushinagar emerged as the best-performing district. Similarly, in the sector-specific Delta rankings, Majhgaon in Bareilly excelled in healthcare and nutrition, Vazirganj in Badaun stood out in education, Behti in Ambedkar Nagar shined in agriculture and water resources, Fatehganj in Bareilly led in financial inclusion and skill development, and Sohawal in Ballia secured the top spot in infrastructure development indicators.

CM Yogi's meticulous review and strategic directions reflect the government's commitment to promote equitable and sustainable development across various sectors in Uttar Pradesh. By implementing these measures, the state strives to enhance the lives of its citizens and create a brighter future for all.
